We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Postdoctoral Scientist to join our emerging team at a new research centre, Biocev, in Prague. As a postdoc, you will take a lead role in investigating molecular mechanisms of MICAL signalling involved in cytoskeletal dynamics. You will use cryo-electron microscopy and protein crystallography that will be further combined with biophysical and cellular experiments. Our group has a strong commitment to both personal and professional development, and you will be encouraged to develop your own ideas within the scope of the group's interests and build your academic profile.
This position is fixed-term for 2 years in the first instance with a possibility of extension. You should hold a PhD degree in biochemistry, structural biology, or related discipline, and have a strong research background and publication record. Strong communication and writing skills are essential.

We are looking for a motivated and talented postgraduate student who is interested in studying signalling pathways. This project will allow you to develop expertise in structural biology, biophysics, and advanced light microscopy. You will build key oral and written communication skills, techniques for open science, and how to lead collaborative research projects. The project will give you opportunities to present your findings at scientific meetings.
You should hold a master's degree in biochemistry, structural biology, or related discipline, and have experience in protein production. Good communication and writing skills are essential.
